Dental Implants in Livermore

Dental implants are a permanent solution to removable partial or complete dentures for replacing missing teeth. Dental implants are a great way to repair or fill in missing teeth since they are incredibly durable and long-lasting. After you've chosen that a dental implant is the best option for your oral health, a titanium implant with a temporary cap is surgically implanted into the jaw bone. You can repair your tooth with a dental implant crown after this implant has had enough time to recover. The natural appearance of implant-supported teeth can often improve or restore a patient's smile!

Reasons for dental implants:

  • Replacing one or more lost teeth while minimizing the impact on nearby teeth
  • Fix teeth slipping into a gap left by a missing tooth, causing joint pain or biting issues.
  • Restore a patient's self-esteem by restoring their grin.
  • Support a bridge or denture to make it more secure and comfortable.
What does getting dental implants involve?

Dental implants typically require a few visits spread out over a few months. After your implant is surgically put, temporary caps are applied, but the ultimate solution demands that your jaw heal completely. However, your new smile will be well worth the wait!

  1. To assess your bone, gum tissue, and spacing for the implant, molds, and X-rays of your jaw and teeth will be taken.
  2. The implant will be surgically implanted in your jaw bone while under local anesthetic. We will subsequently give the implant time to recover, which will vary depending on the patient.
  3. A permanent tooth will be inserted in the implant site, resulting in a long-lasting and natural grin. Your implant should feel and function just like any other natural tooth.

Following treatment, you will be sent home with instructions on caring for yourself. Proper oral hygiene, appropriate eating habits, and yearly visits to your dentist will help extend the life of your new implant, just like any other good dental health practice.

Types Of Dental Implants

Single Dental Implants

A single tooth implant is used to replace a single tooth that has been lost. Your single dental implant will be shaped and tinted to match in with the rest of your smile.

All-on-4® Dental Implants

Do you require a full-mouth reconstruction? Are you tired of your removable dentures? All-On-4 implant dentures are long-term solutions that give patients a complete set of natural-looking teeth on the same day as their procedure!

Dentures are firmly attached to hybrid dental implants by our dentists using dental implants. If you've lost a lot of teeth and are concerned about the cost of typical full-mouth dental implants, this could be the solution for you.

Implant-Retained Dentures

Dentures connected to dental implants for a more stable and healthier fit are known as implant-retained dentures. Implant-retained dentures' ultra-tight fit promotes healthy bone retention, making them a healthier option than traditional dentures. They are detachable and, like ordinary dentures, require daily maintenance.
